Loan Officer Assistant - Long Island

This is an in-office role.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Engage in sales activities, including preapproving files and owning the file from start to finish
• Utilize your sales acumen to structure loans and get them closed
• Referrals are everything, so attention to detail at every step is essential
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals committed to excellence and continuous improvement
• Strong client contact
• The ability to grow your own pipeline and work towards becoming an independent loan officer down the line

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION; must be able to work in the office M-F 9 am to 6 pm (or similar schedule)
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a sales role related to loan origination (Loan Officer, LOA, Processor, Business Development)
• Strong working knowledge of Arive and Salesforce is a plus
• Holding a license as a Mortgage Loan Originator would be beneficial, or candidates must be willing to pursue licensing in NY
• Excellent communication skills are necessary – high energy, outgoing, and loves to work with people and build relationships
• Must be responsive during and after office hours and must be comfortable taking calls (and sending updated preapprovals) on weekends and evenings as necessary
• Candidates should possess a sales-driven mindset and be able to contribute to business growth initiatives
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and openness to learning from industry experts are key attributes sought for this role
