What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Transitional Coordinator position at The Judge Rotenberg Center?
The Assistant Transitional Coordinator is responsible for a variety of duties relating to meeting the needs of a multi-handicapped student and client population, including coordinating transition planning, the pre-transition and transition level process, and the transition process from JRC.The Assistant Transitional Coordinator reports directly to the Transitional Coordinator. It is a non- exempt full-time position. Customary hours of work are 9 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday with a weekend shift every six weeks.
Educational/Work History Requirements:
Baccalaureate degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three years of experience working with a multi-handicapped population.
Ability to work additional hours as necessary.
Possesses excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to function with little supervision.
