Full-time Role

Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to lead new product development, product improvement, and cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The role involves evaluating customer requirements, developing product concepts, leading cross-functional project teams, performing engineering analysis, and supporting products throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical design expertise and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and product development.

Required / Mandatory Skills

• Mechanical Engineering background
• Product design and development experience
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, aluminum casting, fabrication, and machining
• Engineering analysis, stress calculations, and finite element analysis (FEA)
• CAD design experience (SolidWorks preferred)
• Cross-functional project leadership
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to translate customer requirements into product solutions
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of progressive product engineering experience
• Experience leading new product development and product improvement projects
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
