Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations in accordance with physician orders or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans or IEPs aligned with patient/student and family goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to restore, improve, or maintain communication, cognitive, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
- Monitor patient/student progress, adjust treatment plans, and identify contraindications as needed.
- Complete accurate, timely documentation and billing in compliance with facility, state, federal, and payer requirements.
- Participate in discharge planning, including family meetings, home assessments, and caregiver training.
- Supervise Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants, Clinical Fellows, and student interns in accordance with state practice acts and organizational policies.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary clinical environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state license in Speech‑Language Pathology in the applicable state(s).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship (strongly preferred).
