Job Title: SAP ERP Quality Management Consultant

Experience Required: 8–20 years

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Role: SAP S/4HANA PPQM

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Quality Management Consultant with strong expertise in implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP QM processes. This role requires deep functional knowledge, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Configuration & Implementation

• Configure SAP QM modules, including Inspection Plans, Quality Notifications, and Quality Certificates.
• Set up and maintain QM master data such as MICs, Inspection Methods, and Sampling Procedures.
• Integrate QM with MM (Procurement), PP (Production), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
• Design and implement quality processes for incoming, in‑process, and final inspections.
• Automate quality workflows using SAP QM, PP/DS, or S/4HANA Quality Management functionalities.
  
  

Business Process & Solution Design

• Analyze complex business process requirements and propose effective SAP solutions.
• Facilitate workshops to gather and document business requirements.
• Map business processes to SAP capabilities and develop necessary enhancements or customizations.
• Design, configure, and test SAP QM modules to meet client needs.
• Identify system gaps, issues, and workaround solutions.
  
  

Support, Testing & Troubleshooting

• Serve as the primary liaison between business users and the technical team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP QM issues, including emergency transport requests.
• Prepare functional design documents, test cases, and test results.
• Provide support during UAT, training, and production deployment.
• Deliver ad‑hoc user training and ongoing support.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
• Contribute to both new implementations and existing support engagements.
• Proactively recommend process or system enhancements.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience supporting UAT, end‑user training, and go‑live activities.
• Depth in SAP S/4HANA PPQM is highly preferred.
