Our client is currently seeking a Travel Respiratory Care Practitioner Therapist

Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week (12-Hour Shifts)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join its Respiratory Therapy team on the night shift. In this role, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and advanced respiratory therapy treatments.
• Monitor, assess, and adjust oxygen therapy and ventilator support as needed.
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs), EKGs, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Assist with airway management and artificial airway changes.
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on respiratory care plans.
• Deliver age-appropriate care while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
• Maintain professional certifications and stay current with respiratory therapy best practices.
• Participate in staff meetings and departmental initiatives.
  
  

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Current Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Practice
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) – Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Credential
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS Certification (American Heart Association)
• NRP Certification (required; must be submitted with application)
