Job Title: Day Surgery Registered Nurse (PreOp/PostOp RN)
Work Address: Corvallis, OR 97330
Schedule: 4–5 days/week | Shifts: 07:00–15:30 or 07:00–17:30
Role Summary
Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in Pre-Operative and Post-Operative (PreOp/PostOp) phases within a day surgery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in PreOp and PostOp settings
- Prepare patients for surgery and monitor recovery
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth OR workflow
- Maintain efficiency and patient throughput in day surgery unit
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and ensure safe discharge
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license – Oregon
- Experience in PreOp/PostOp or Perioperative care
- Experience in one or more specialties:
- Orthopedics
- General Surgery
- Urology
- Gastroenterology (GI)
- Podiatry
- Gynecology (GYN)
Preferred
- CNOR certification
- Strong teamwork and ability to maintain OR efficiency
