Our client is currently seeking a Quality Manager for their manufacturing facility just outside Portland OR. The Quality Manager will report to the Plant Manager and receive functional support from the Corporate Director of Quality. This is a hands-on position requiring regular presence on the manufacturing floor to observe processes, conduct inspections, support audits, and coach employees in real time. The Quality Manager serves as the site owner of the Quality Management System and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and customer requirements while partnering closely with other department managers. Candidates with a HACCP Certification and strong SQF Experience are preferred. This is a Mon - Fri position working days.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System in alignment with SQF and corporate standards
- Serve as the site SQF Practitioner and lead all external and internal audits
- Maintain and enforce HACCP, food safety, and prerequisite programs
- Work closely with Manufacturing Leadership to ensure quality and food safety expectations are met across all shifts
- Provide training and guidance to production and support teams on quality and food safety requirements
- Manage customer complaints, nonconformances, and corrective actions
- Monitor site quality performance and support continuous improvement efforts
- Interface with customers, suppliers, auditors, and other sites as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- HACCP Certification and/or SQF Certified Practitioner heavily preferred
- 3-5 Years Quality Leadership Experience working within SQF-certified & audited plants
- Experience in manufacturing quality or food safety environments
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a site-level leadership role
