Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor in GA.
The Par Fry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the par fry operations during the 2nd shift in a poultry processing facility.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Supervise all activities in the par fry area, including oil management, cook times, product flow, and equipment performance.
- Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications.
Monitor line speeds, yields, and throughput to meet production targets.
Team Leadership
Direct and support par fry operators and line workers.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
Ensure proper staffing and shift coverage.
Quality & Food Safety
Maintain compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and company food safety policies.
- Conduct regular quality checks and collaborate with QA to resolve issues.
Ensure proper sanitation and allergen control procedures are followed.
Equipment & Maintenance
Monitor fryer performance, oil filtration systems, and temperature controls.
- Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3 years of experience in poultry or food processing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of par fry operations, food safety standards, and production metrics.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold, and wet environment.
