About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations at our Emporia, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of pharmacy services, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering a high standard of patient care.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a pharmacy operation with autonomy while building and stabilizing processes in a developing team environment.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Perform data entry, prescription filling, and verification of medications
- Dispense medications and provide patient counseling on proper usage and safety
- Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and stock accuracy
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state (Kansas), and local pharmacy regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff (including agency support)
- Deliver patient-focused care and resolve medication-related issues
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license in the state of Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing pharmacist
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, prescription processing, and patient counseling
- Basic computer proficiency for pharmacy systems and documentation
