Pharmacist

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Morrisville, NC

Shifts available:

• M-F 9:00AM – 5:30PM
• M-F 5:30PM-2:00AM

Job Engagement: Contract ( through 06/19/2026)

Essential Functions

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to production deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including DEA and HIPAA requirements.
• Supervise pharmacy staff to ensure accurate order entry, secure handling of medications, and timely deliveries.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of all prescriptions, labels, and packaging.
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products and solutions.
• Assist with controlled substance management, including ordering, documentation, and perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ensure workflow dashboard is cleared daily.
• Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• Current, active pharmacy license in good standing.
• Proficiency in clinical interpretation (drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, allergies).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
