Key Responsibilities
- Treat mild to moderate closed head injuries and post-traumatic headaches
- Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment for occupational or motor vehicle injuries
- Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
- Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injury and appropriate treatment
- Work with in-house computerized neurocognitive testing, including ImPACT testing, as well as in-house vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapy services
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reports
- Provide testimony on behalf of some treated patients, as needed
- Support exceptional patient care in alignment with organizational goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
- MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Favorable malpractice history
- Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers
- Tact and skill in patient management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to mentor and supervise staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities, including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, bending at the waist, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
