Network Infrastructure Engineer – Onsite
Location: Bensalem
We’re seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer responsible for the operation, performance, and availability of our network infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring network operations, performing maintenance, and supporting security and unified communications systems.
You’ll take ownership of managing, supporting, and documenting branch and office network infrastructure, including device configuration, lifecycle management, and implementation of new technologies. Occasional travel between locations will be required for projects and site maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and deployments.
- Conduct site visits for projects and maintenance.
- Audit and remediate network devices for security compliance.
- Assist with Cisco Unified Communications systems as needed.
- Maintain network systems with software and firmware updates.
- Create and update documentation, diagrams, and departmental procedures.
- Troubleshoot network issues, document root cause, and implement fixes.
- Collaborate with vendors for escalations and resolutions.
- Mentor team members and share knowledge.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Qualifications
- 3 years hands-on experience with Cisco network infrastructure (operations & implementations).
- Strong knowledge of IP routing and protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with WAN technologies (MPLS, IPsec, VPNs).
- Familiarity with network security technologies (firewalls, identity management, anti-malware).
- CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
- Cisco Unified Communications and VoIP experience is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
