Position Summary
The role involves consulting with product teams to improve the design of education features, ensuring they support effective teaching experiences in K‑12 settings. You will evaluate product quality from an educator’s perspective and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen learning outcomes for students and teachers.
Top Daily Responsibilities
- Consult with product teams developing education features and suggest improvements aligned with learning science best practices for K‑12 learners
- Prototype new education features, including prompt writing and editing for AI‑based tools tailored to classroom use
- Evaluate AI tutoring systems and provide feedback on usability and pedagogical effectiveness in K‑12 contexts
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- K‑12 educator/tutoring experience: 4 years teaching high school or college science/math, in‑person or online
- Educational background: College degree or equivalent in education, instructional design, computer science, or related field
- Project management skills: Planning, prioritization, and communication
- Prompt engineering: Experience using generative AI to improve learning experiences in K‑12 education
- GSuite fluency: Proficiency with Docs, Sheets, and Slides
Non‑Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced education in learning sciences research
- Knowledge of computer science, including large language models
- Edtech consulting with product teams
