IAM Engineer (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
Tucker, GA
Salary: Up to $145,000

We’re looking for an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise IAM capabilities across hybrid and cloud environments. This role is critical to protecting business systems while enabling secure, efficient access for the workforce.
You’ll serve as a technical authority for authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access, working closely with Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, HR, and application teams.
What You’ll Do
- Design and operate IAM solutions (SSO, MFA, RBAC, conditional access) across on‑prem and cloud environments
- Own and improve automated Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes using authoritative identity sources
- Implement and manage Privileged Access Management (PAM), enforcing least‑privilege and secure access
- Support audits, access reviews, and compliance initiatives (SOX, NERC CIP, ISO, etc.)
- Assist with identity‑related security incidents and improve logging, monitoring, and detection
- Act as an IAM subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to IT and Security leadership
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
- 4 years of hands‑on IAM experience (senior‑level candidates welcome)
- Experience with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, Ping, or ForgeRock
- Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, Zero Trust, RBAC/ABAC
- Experience integrating IAM with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP)
- Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell and/or Python preferred)
Nice to Have:
- PAM experience
- SIEM integrations
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Certifications such as CISSP, Microsoft Identity & Access Administrator, Okta, or GIAM
Leveling
This role can align to IAM Engineer III, IV, or V based on experience (approximately 4–8 years), with increased leadership and architectural responsibility at senior levels.
