Salary: $95,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR functions within the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards. This role is responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and safety programs to support a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Staffing:
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain skilled employees.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
• Employee Relations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and maintain high employee engagement.
• Compliance & Policy Management:
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with company standards.
• Performance Management:
• Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance to supervisors.
• Support managers in addressing performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
• Training & Development:
• Identify training needs and coordinate programs to enhance workforce skills.
• Promote leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
• Safety & Health:
• Collaborate with safety teams to ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety standards.
• Support wellness programs and initiatives to improve employee well-being.
• HR Metrics & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on key metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and workforce demographics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with union environments and collective bargaining agreements.
• Certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) is a plus.
