Description

The Judge Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer for an equipment manufacturing company located in Downingtown, PA.

Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Downingtown, PA Area

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

Travel: 50%

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial packaging equipment
• Train customers on equipment operation
• Diagnose technical issues and implement solutions
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
• Program components and run Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
• Produce detailed service reports
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
• Assist with commissioning and start-up of new machines
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting
• Support spare parts identification and inventory management
• Maintain technical documentation and wiring diagrams
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Identify opportunities for upgrades or improvements
• Provide remote support when on-site presence isn’t possible
• Train internal staff on new equipment features
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and skills
• Experience with Allen Bradley controls
• Previous field service experience highly preferred
