Recognized within the Company as a technical expert in environmental and occupational health & safety (EH&S) regulations and standards. This role requires demonstrated leadership in managing the Environmental Management System (EMS) and the corporate Safety Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EH&S issues and their integration into business operations, along with a proven track record in OSHA and EPA compliance, chemical safety, sustainable environmental practices, and injury/illness prevention.

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable governmental regulations and internal EH&S policies.
- Monitor emerging regulatory developments, evaluate their potential impact on the Company, and implement efficient compliance strategies.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and to achieve EH&S objectives.
- Communicate EH&S issues effectively across the organization.
- Promote and cultivate a Behavior-Based Safety culture focused on eliminating unsafe behaviors and conditions.
- Apply technical environmental expertise and knowledge of the Company’s manufacturing processes to reduce waste.
- Utilize available technologies and equipment to control and mitigate air and water pollution.
- Collect, analyze, and leverage EH&S metrics to reduce environmental and safety risks and support Company goals.
- Provide EH&S support and guidance across multiple assigned facilities.
- Coordinate and conduct Safety Assessments and Environmental Audits; ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge relevant to EH&S responsibilities.
- Develop, plan, organize, and deliver EH&S training programs.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, leadership, teamwork, a positive attitude, and high integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience in lean manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems or thermodynamics is a strong plus.
