Position Details
- Number of Positions: 2
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Projected Start Date: September 15, 2025
- Scheduling Requirements: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- On-Call Requirements: Stay late 1–2 times per week
- Float Policy: Within scope of practice and experience
- Auto-Offer: No
- Weekend/Holiday Requirements: As needed
- Number of Beds: 4
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Staffing: RNs with support from CNC, unit secretary, and manager (shared with CVOR)
- Equipment: GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji ultrasound
- Documentation System: Cerner
- Dress Code: Uniform provided
Certifications Required:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years
- Critical care experience required
- PreOp experience preferred
- BCMA
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Critical thinking skills
- Large-bore IV starts
- Chin-to-toe hair removal
- Medication administration
- Skin assessment
- Assistance with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
- Patient transport to OR
- Support with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
