Controls Systems Engineer


Location: Myrtle Beach, SC


Type: Full-Time


Overview

We’re seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to support automation, improve equipment performance, and enhance manufacturing efficiency across our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
  • Support equipment upgrades, new installations, and automation projects
  • Diagnose electrical and controls issues to reduce downtime
  • Integrate sensors, instrumentation, robotics, and motion control
  • Maintain documentation, system standards, and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
  • 3 years in manufacturing or industrial automation
  • Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred)
  • Knowledge of HMI/SCADA and industrial communication protocols
  • Strong troubleshooting and project management skills

Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
