We are seeking a Clinical Administrative Coordinator (Administrative Assistant) to join our team supporting Optum Health Services. This role is fully on-site in Clermont, FL, and offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by managing administrative processes and supporting clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage administrative intake of members.
- Answer and route incoming and outgoing calls.
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and clinical teams to manage service requests.
- Process referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notifications, and census tracking.
- Assist clinical staff with documentation and triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review.
- Navigate and document information across multiple clinical applications and SharePoint sites.
- Enter data into the electronic health record in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor referral reports and ensure timely follow-up.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues from members and providers.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior administrative or healthcare support experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and data entry skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Must pass occupational health screenings.
Salary : $12 - $13
