Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Indirect Buyers (Buyer II / Buyer III) to support procurement operations in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. This role focuses on end-to-end procurement for indirect categories, including Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, Engineering Technology/IT (ET/IT) hardware, and aerospace-related goods & services.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation expertise, supplier management experience, and the ability to navigate complex procurement processes effectively.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience (preferably indirect buying)
• Proven experience procuring COTS products and IT/technology hardware
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience working with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing industries
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and procurement compliance
• Relevant certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or equivalent
• Background in strategic sourcing and category management

📦 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for indirect categories
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery
• Conduct RFQs/RFPs and competitive bid analysis

🔹 COTS Procurement

• Handle procurement of standard off-the-shelf products across categories
• Drive catalog buying and standardization initiatives
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers and distributors

🔹 ET/IT Hardware Procurement

• Procure IT equipment, networking components, peripherals, and test equipment
• Collaborate with engineering & IT teams for technical requirements
• Ensure alignment with security and lifecycle standards

🔹 Aerospace Procurement

• Support sourcing of aerospace materials and services
• Ensure compliance with traceability, quality certifications, and standards
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams

🔹 Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong supplier partnerships for cost optimization and reliability
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
• Resolve supplier issues (quality, delays, invoicing discrepancies)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely delivery

🔹 Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain procurement records and documentation
• Support audits and reporting requirements
