Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support our Avionics Engineering organization by transforming complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will build automated dashboards, develop operational metrics, and streamline reporting processes using Power BI, SQL, and other analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Extract, clean, and integrate data from SQL databases, Smartsheet, and Excel.
Define and track key engineering and operational metrics, including quality, delivery, and project performance.
Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and analysis.
Automate manual reporting processes and develop scalable data solutions for leadership decision-making.
Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to translate business requirements into meaningful insights.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel (Power Query/DAX), and RStudio or Python.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and dashboard development.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to drive business decisions.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or avionics organizations.
Knowledge of ERP systems, operational KPIs, and process automation.
Skills: Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, R/Python, Excel, Data Visualization, Reporting Automation, Business Intelligence.
