Biochemical Process Engineer (1082804)

Location: South Salt Lake, UT

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Biochemical Process Engineer!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bioprocess, Biochemical, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bioprocess engineering (5 or more years preferred)
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques
• Knowledge of bioprocess and fermentation systems
• Ability to analyze and interpret data

• Demonstrated leadership skills in driving change and improving process integrity
• Strong collaboration, communication, and alignment with plant leadership
• Experience in implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and quality
• Superior safety practices and environmental responsibility
  
  

Responsibilities

Process Development:

• Design and develop bioprocess systems and associated equipment for fermentation and dry manufacturing processes
• Analyze data to identify trends, optimize processes, and provide reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Interpret and analyze results of experiments and tests
• Assess potential risks and develop mitigation plans
• Maintain records and document process parameters
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute bioprocesses
  
  

Skills

• Designing, developing, and optimizing bioprocess systems (e.g., fermentation)
• Implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and quality
• Performing research and analysis of bioprocesses
• Collecting and interpreting data on bioprocesses
