Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate production schedules and resolve issues related to methods, tools, materials, and manpower.
- Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and operational; maintain 5S standards.
- Lead daily team meetings and motivate staff.
- Oversee production to minimize downtime and meet quality standards.
- Monitor costs, quality, schedules, and inventory; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Review daily production data and report KPIs.
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan staffing schedules and authorize overtime when necessary.
- Manage budgets and track attendance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support critical deadlines with flexible scheduling when required.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of leadership experience.
- Understanding of P&L and how operations impact profitability.
- Experience managing 10–15 employees, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Production planning and scheduling experience.
- Basic Lean Manufacturing knowledge; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications and ERP systems.
- Ability to read mechanical measurements and use instrumentation.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.
