Program Manager - (Energy, Sustainability, and Utility)

Deputy Program Manager – Energy & Sustainability (NYC)We’re seeking a Deputy Program Manager to help lead a large New York City energy and sustainability program. The DPM will support the Program Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and ensuring program goals are met on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:Supervise multiple team leads and staff across different program areas.Coordinate activities in case management, marketing, technology, and workforce development.Work closely with city agencies, utility partners, and other stakeholders.Monitor program performance, budgets, and subcontractor activities.Improve workflows for building retrofits, LL97 compliance, and incentive programs.Prepare reports and ensure accurate data tracking.Support strategy, planning, and risk management.Represent the program in meetings and public events. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in public administration, sustainability, urban planning, or a related field (Master’s preferred).8–10 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in energy or sustainability.Experience leading teams and managing subcontractors.Strong communication and organization skills.Knowledge of NYC energy efficiency programs and Local Law 97 preferred.Proficiency in Salesforce, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
