Joseph is a well-established commercial / industrial construction firm seeking an experienced Field Superintendent for daytime hours Monday through Friday to oversee day-to-day planning & management for projects with contract values ranging from $1,000,000 - $10,000,000.
We are a leading General Contractor & Construction Manager working for clients primarily in Southern MN & Northern IA for over 60 years. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction phase of Joseph's projects including monitoring & controlling productivity, quality, & schedule
- Establish job-specific safety plan & educate, implement, monitor, & enforce Joseph's safety program.
- Includes daily safety "huddle" meetings with subcontractor foreman.
- Work with Project Managers conducting periodic project meetings steering the construction process in a manner that allows project goals to be successfully accomplished using several tools such as submittal tracking, RFI's, logs for PR's, CO's, & critical path schedule with 3-week work plan.
- Serve as main point of contact for Owner, professional design team, subcontractors, & Joseph's self-perform trades on site.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of (2) years of experience in a leadership position on a construction project
- Familiarity with CM software such as Submittal Exchange, Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Plangrid, Planswift
- Possess good communication skills
- Thorough plan reading skills & understanding of Construction Standards Institute (CSI) format
