Position Description

The Part-Time Program Coordinator supports the mission, vision, and values of The Jordan Elizabeth

Harris Foundation (JEHF) by assisting with the implementation, delivery, promotion, and evaluation of

suicide prevention, mental health, and peer support initiatives. Program Coordinators serve schools,

community organizations, businesses, faith partners, and the public through training, outreach,

relationship building, and program support.


While each Program Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility, all team members are expected

to collaborate across programs and departments to ensure the successful delivery of Foundation

initiatives and services.


Reports To: Vice President of Programs

Responsible To: Program Manager within the position’s specific vertical and JEHF Team


Position Requirements

● Professional and exceptional oral and written communication skills.

● Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.

● Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

● Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

● Comfortable facilitating trainings and presenting to groups of varying sizes.

● Experience working with schools, youth, nonprofit organizations, public education, or

community organizations preferred.

● Demonstrated ability to handle stress, difficult conversations and difficult topics.

● Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, CRM/database systems,

virtual meeting platforms, and other technology applications.

● Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout the Greater

Tarrant County service area.

● Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

● Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation.

● QPR Gatekeeper Certification (provided upon hire).

● Completion of required JEHF certifications and program-specific trainings (provided by

employer).


Position Responsibilities

Program Implementation and Support

● Assist with the implementation and delivery of JEHF prevention, education, and peer support

programs.

● Deliver trainings, talks, consulting and advice for partners at the specific direction of the

Foundation.

● Support schools and community partners in the successful implementation of Foundation

programs.

● Maintain program quality through accurate documentation, data collection, evaluation, and

reporting.

● Serve as a resource to schools, organizations, businesses, and community partners

participating in JEHF programs.

● Maintain accurate records and document interactions within the Foundations CRM/database.

● Collaborate with the School Programs Manager and JEHF staff to ensure successful program

implementation and service delivery.

● Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and required

organizational trainings.

● Stay informed on current suicide prevention, mental health, youth wellness, and prevention

best practices.

Community Engagement

● Represent JEHF professionally at schools, conferences, community events, health fairs,

outreach activities, and public presentations.

● Assist with community awareness campaigns and the distribution of educational materials and

resources.

● Build, strengthen, and maintain positive relationships with schools, organizations, businesses,

faith partners, and community stakeholders.

● Support fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, and Foundation events as assigned.

● Assist with outreach activities that increase community awareness and engagement with JEHF

programs.

● Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Schedule

This is a part-time, hybrid working environment averaging 25–30 hours per week. Team members are

required to attend all in-person staff meetings, Foundation and community events, scheduled

trainings, school visits, and perform other assigned duties, while also having the flexibility to work

remotely when appropriate and based on the operational needs of The Jordan Elizabeth Harris

Foundation.

Work schedules will be coordinated with the employees direct supervisor. During peak seasons or in

preparation for Foundation events, additional in-office time and, when available, additional work hours

may be required.

Employees must reside within a reasonable driving distance of schools, training locations, meetings,

and Foundation events throughout the Foundations areas of support.


Compensation

This is a part-time, non-exempt position averaging 25–30 hours per week. Compensation ranges

  • from $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and assigned
