Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage claims from initial report through resolution. This position is ideal for a claims professional with strong Workers’ Compensation experience who can independently evaluate exposures, develop claim strategies, and provide effective communication throughout the claims process.

Candidates may be considered at either the experienced or senior adjuster level based on background and qualifications. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workers’ Compensation claims from initial report through resolution.
• Investigate claims, evaluate compensability, and develop appropriate claim strategies.
• Review medical records, claim documentation, and other relevant information.
• Communicate with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and other involved parties.
• Evaluate reserves, exposures, and settlement opportunities.
• Coordinate with defense counsel and other claims professionals as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely claim files and documentation.
• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Provide responsive and professional service to internal and external stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Previous experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation claims practices and processes.
• Experience handling lost-time, litigated, or complex Workers’ Compensation claims is highly valued.
• Ability to independently manage a claims caseload and prioritize competing responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant Workers’ Compensation jurisdictional experience is a plus.
• Applicable claims adjuster licensing and professional designations are preferred.
  
  

Compensation Package

• $75,000 – $95,000 base salary, depending on experience and level.
