This role involves managing a portfolio of complex general liability and commercial auto claims, with a focus on industries such as construction, energy, oil & gas, and environmental sectors. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence four days a week.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 (Candidates with salary expectations up to $95,000 will also be considered)

- Manage a caseload of 85-100 complex general liability and commercial auto claims with exposures ranging from $50,000 to $500,000.
- Conduct thorough investigations, evaluate coverage and liability, and develop resolution strategies.
- Handle litigated claims, including representing the company in mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to identify trends and improve outcomes.
- Serve as a technical expert and strategic advisor within your line of business.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on complex claim file management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field (required).
- Licensing: Adjuster license preferred, with a focus on home state licenses in Texas and Florida (assistance provided for obtaining licenses if needed).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years handling general liability and commercial auto bodily injury (BI) and property damage (PD) claims from start to finish.
- At least 2 years of experience managing a litigated claims desk.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industries such as oil & gas, underground tank, environmental, and construction.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage high-value claims and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional designations (e.g., CPCU) are a plus.
