Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Producer to join a growing independent insurance agency. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong sales mentality and a proven track record in personal lines insurance. The ideal candidate will excel at generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and actively participating in community networking. This position offers remote and hybrid work flexibility while emphasizing business development, client engagement, and sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and generate new personal lines insurance business through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and local business professionals.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify appropriate insurance coverage solutions.
• Prepare, present, and explain insurance proposals, coverage options, and policy recommendations.
• Drive new business production by consistently meeting or exceeding established sales goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering long-term client relationships.
• Respond to client inquiries, address concerns, and provide ongoing policy support.
• Conduct policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Actively participate in community networking events to generate referrals and expand business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy information using agency management software and CRM systems.
• Prepare and submit insurance applications and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient policy processing and client service.
• Stay informed about industry trends, insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory changes.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensing: Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an insurance agency setting, preferably within an independent agency. Candidates with captive agency experience and demonstrated business development success will also be considered.
• Sales Experience: Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales goals in personal lines insurance.
• Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Business Development: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to prospecting, networking, and generating referrals.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience using agency management software and CRM systems.
• Independence: Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment while maintaining productivity and accountability.
• Networking: Willingness and ability to actively engage in local community networking and relationship-building activities.
• Location: Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated service area or demonstrate the ability to maintain an active local networking presence.
  
  

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $32,000 – $50,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Commissions: Uncapped commission structure with strong earning potential.
• Alternative Compensation: Fully commission-based compensation arrangements may be considered for qualified candidates.
