Lending & Finance Partner

Job Description

A mid-sized, full-service law firm is seeking a Partner-level attorney to join its Corporate/Financial Services practice, focusing on lending and commercial finance transactions. This role involves representing lenders and borrowers in complex financing arrangements, including secured and unsecured loans, asset-based lending, revolving credit facilities, and term loans.

The position is ideal for an established attorney with a portable book of business who is looking to expand their practice within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment in either Chicago, IL or Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex lending and finance transactions
• Advise clients on structuring, negotiating, and executing financing deals
• Work across a variety of industries with sophisticated clients
• Handle multi-lender transactions, intercreditor agreements, and loan participations
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial finance/lending
• Strong background representing both lenders and borrowers
• Expertise in asset-based and cash-flow lending, and complex deal structuring
• Experience with private/non-institutional lenders preferred
• Exposure to venture and convertible debt transactions is a plus
• Licensed (or eligible for admission) in designated U.S. jurisdictions
• Required: portable book of business
