Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced environment with significant growth potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in servicing a block of business, managing larger group accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction. Compensation Package

  • Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Commissions: 5% on your assigned book of business (potential earnings of $5,000 - $20,000 in commissions)
  • 401(k): Fully vested after 90 days with a 3-4% company match
  • Benefits: Comprehensive PPO-based health coverage with competitive costs, effective after 30 days
  • Paid Time Off: 12 days PTO and 9 paid holidays in the first year, increasing to 15 days PTO in the second year

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a block of business, focusing on larger group accounts (average size: 100 lives)
  • Provide exceptional client-facing service to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Handle self-funded accounts and other employee benefits-related services
  • Collaborate with sales teams to quote new and renewal business
  • Utilize software tools such as Prism HR and Salesforce to manage accounts effectively

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as an Employee Benefits Account Manager in an agency setting
  • Active Life & Health (L&H) license
  • Experience working with larger group accounts and self-funded plans
  • Proficiency in using Prism HR and Salesforce software
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Chandler, AZ
