Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding a commercial insurance portfolio, focusing on delivering exceptional service to a clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. This position offers the flexibility of being fully onsite, hybrid, or remote for the right candidate, with a preference for individuals located in Illinois, Ohio, or Indiana.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 (up to $100,000 for highly qualified candidates)
• Commission: 60% on new business, 30% on renewals
• Bonus Opportunities: Potential for additional performance-based bonuses

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a book of business with a focus on commercial lines, including generalist accounts, contractors, public entities, and municipal clients.
• Handle accounts with an average premium size of $25,000 and above.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Work with top carriers such as Cincinnati, Erie, Liberty Mutual, Selective, and Westbend to provide tailored insurance solutions.
• Manage new business acquisition and renewal processes to achieve sales targets.
• Utilize the EZLynx Agency Management System to manage client accounts and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Required licenses for commercial insurance sales.
• Experience: Proven experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on contractors, public entities, and municipal accounts.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using EZLynx or similar agency management systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
