Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves servicing and marketing middle-market commercial accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
Compensation Package
- Salary: Up to $75,000 annually (negotiable for highly qualified candidates, up to $80,000).
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan.
- Work Environment: Hybrid work model (2 days in-office, 3 days remote). Remote candidates must be able to visit an office periodically.
- Equipment: Company-provided equipment for remote work.
- Manage and service a portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts.
- Handle daily account servicing tasks, including policy renewals, endorsements, and client inquiries.
- Market and quote new and renewal business to ensure competitive pricing and coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless client service and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial insurance account management (candidates with slightly less experience may be considered at a lower salary range).
- Licenses/Certifications: Active insurance licenses as required by the state of Alabama.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional yet flexible environment.
- Location: Preference for candidates based in Birmingham, Troy, or Gulf Shores, Alabama. Candidates in other Alabama locations may be considered if they can commute to one of our offices as needed.
- Training: Training will be conducted in the Birmingham office. Candidates based in Birmingham are preferred for better training and development opportunities.
- Start Date: Ideally within the next month.
- Interview Process: Includes a phone interview with HR, an assessment, and a video interview. Candidates near an office may be asked to attend an in-person meeting.
