Auto Total Loss Adjuster

Job Summary

The Auto Total Loss Adjuster will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling total loss auto claims efficiently and accurately. This individual will work closely with insureds, claimants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely claim resolution while delivering a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience handling auto total loss and subrogation claims
• Strong understanding of auto claims handling and total loss procedures
• Experience reviewing vehicle valuations and settlement calculations
• Familiarity with salvage and title processing
• Ability to manage claims in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
• Active adjuster license(s) preferred where applicable
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a pending of auto total loss claims from inception through resolution
• Investigate coverage, liability, and damages related to total loss claims
• Review vehicle valuations and determine accurate settlement amounts
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, lienholders, and vendors
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, salvage processing, and title documentation
• Maintain detailed and accurate claim file documentation
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve claims efficiently
