Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed medical histories, to determine the root causes of discomfort or injury.
- Perform precise chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies such as trigger point therapy to relieve pain and restore function.
- Develop individualized care plans that incorporate techniques for acute pain management, occupational health concerns, and ongoing wellness strategies.
- Utilize medical imaging results and physiology knowledge to inform diagnosis and treatment approaches.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up evaluations, adjusting care plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to support long-term health.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, treatment procedures, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution with active licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physical examination techniques essential for accurate diagnosis.
- Proven experience in patient observation, patient assessment, and primary care within a chiropractic or related healthcare setting.
- Skilled in pain management techniques including trigger point therapy and acute pain management strategies.
- Familiarity with medical imaging interpretation and the development of effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and foster a positive patient experience.
