The Joinery, Lakeland’s modern food hall is searching for a Porter who is passionate about providing a memorable experience. Come be a part of our fun & unique team!
We are currently looking for someone to work part time (nights weekends) but this position can open up to more shifts going into our busy season!
Job Summary
Looking for a Porter to give quality & consistent experiences by maintaining the cleanliness & appearance of The Joinery property. We are seeking an individual who works quickly & efficiently and with a positive & welcoming personality. The Joinery does not require prior experience for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Arrive for shifts on time and ready for work
- Cleaning tables after Guests get up, disposing of remaining trash on tables/floors, maintaining the cleanliness of the floor both inside and outside
- Cleaning and restocking restrooms and self-service beverage station
- Taking trash & recycling out from main receptacles throughout the property
- Commitment to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift
Qualifications and Skills
- Able to work within a team environment to coordinate a one of a kind experience with upbeat, outgoing, and positive energy
- Accountability, professionalism and a high level of conscientiousness regarding the Guest experience
- Ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds, moving about the property, handling trays, glasses etc., bending, stooping, and kneeling

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
