Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Long Form YouTube Video Editor, based in Pensacola, FL. The Video Editor will manage the end-to-end editing process for long-form YouTube content, including organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, refining edits, and creating polished final videos. Additional responsibilities include filming long form challenge videos on a monthly basis, collaborating with the creative team to ensure consistent storytelling, implementing feedback to improve video quality, and optimizing content for audience engagement and YouTube algorithms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about visual storytelling and comfortable working in a dynamic, creative environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Video Editing and Video Production to efficiently deliver high-quality, polished content
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team, provide updates, and incorporate feedback
- Experience developing and optimizing content specifically for YouTube and other digital platforms
- Knowledge of Marketing principles to align content strategy with audience engagement and brand representation
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software
- Understanding of storytelling principles and pacing for long-form content
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is a plus
- Portfolio of past video editing work is strongly recommended
