Available Hours: 10am-6pm or 2pm to 10pm
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician supports the safe and efficient operation of our printing and finishing equipment by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks. This hands-on role focuses on general maintenance with an emphasis on electrical work. The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Job Description
The Maintenance Technician supports the safe and efficient operation of our printing and finishing equipment by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks. This hands-on role focuses on general maintenance with an emphasis on electrical work. The ideal candidate has at least two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.
Essential Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical issues such as faulty wiring, fuses, switches, and sensors.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on machines, motors, conveyors, and building systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations.
- Maintain lighting, outlets, and other electrical fixtures throughout the facility.
- Support general facility upkeep, including plumbing, carpentry, and basic HVAC tasks as needed.
- Ensure tools, work areas, and equipment are clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all safety protocols including proper lockout/tagout procedures and PPE use.
- Maintain accurate logs of completed maintenance and report any unresolved issues.
- Solid understanding of general maintenance practices and mechanical systems.
- Basic electrical knowledge (troubleshooting, wiring, and component replacement).
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic instruments (e.g., multimeter).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a production environment.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing, printing, or industrial setting.
- Basic electrical maintenance experience preferred.
