What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at The Jobin Organization?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Reading construction documents, including, but not limited to drawings, specifications, addenda and bulletins
- Identifying and understanding Division 07 and Division 08 scope of work
- Perform quantitative takeoffs
- Prepare accurate estimates, including material and labor, for Waterproofing, Roofing, Exterior Wall Panels and Curtain Wall projects up to $50 million
- Review and analyze vendors' quotations for scope of work
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site walk-through, if required
- Maintain positive relationships with Construction Managers, General Contractors, Architects and Vendors
