Our client in the biotech industry located in The Oaks area is looking to hire an Operations Supervisor to oversee all warehouse operations across shifts, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate inventory, strong documentation, and compliance with safety and GMP standards. This role provides leadership to warehouse staff, supports cross-department coordination, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining operational readiness in preparation for company growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations:
- Oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations across both AM and PM shifts to ensure efficient workflow and uninterrupted support of production. (Hours of operation 6am – 10pm)
- Manage daily execution of receiving, labeling, staging, storage, consumable preparation, and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate closely with Production to ensure availability of consumables, supplies, and equipment.
- Oversee handling and storage of blood containers, raw materials, and temperature-sensitive items.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times.
Team Leadership & Oversight:
- Provide direct leadership and accountability for Warehouse Leads on both shifts.
- Maintain regular presence across shifts to ensure consistency in expectations, performance, and communication.
- Conduct daily huddles to review staffing, priorities, safety concerns, and equipment status.
- Address performance, attendance, and workflow issues promptly and professionally.
- Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of warehouse staff.
- Maintain training materials, SOP familiarity, and competency tracking.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as the operational bridge between CEO, Warehouse, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Office/HR teams.
- Communicate inventory shortages, delays, equipment issues, or staffing concerns in real time.
- Support cross-functional planning to align operational needs with production and quality requirements.
- Escalate risks, issues, or deviations promptly with clear recommendations.
Safety and Workplace Standards:
- Enforce safety policies, GMP requirements, and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Report hazards, incidents, or equipment concerns immediately.
- Promote a safe, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years of operations supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, biotech, or GMP environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong documentation accuracy.
- Hands-on mindset with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Bachelors degree
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in cold or warm environments.
