Jeweler

Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Jeweler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, jewelry pieces with the opportunity to quickly advance according to your skills. You will have a base pay with the opportunity to earn much more from piece work. I take pride in the quality of the work produced in my store, so I am willing to teach you anything you do not already know how to do, and teach you techniques you might not be aware of. I have over 40 years experience as a Jeweler and learned old school. I do have advanced equipment also make many jobs easier. My store has been open for just over a year and I need help to keep up with my growing demand.

Responsibilities

• Repairs on Jewelry from minor to start off with, to complex, complicated, and fun custom work as you prove your skills.
• Help with the usual up keep and maintenance that is necessary for daily use of equipment.

Qualifications

• You must be able to size rings, solder chains, re-tip prongs, Solder ring sets together and do simple minor repairs on Gold and Silver to start off with. Knowing how to work on Platinum work is not a necessity.
• If you can set stones this is a plus also.
• You must be an honest person, I do not tolerate theft!
