Server

The Jesse is a boutique hotel & bar in downtown Reno's Brewery District, is hiring a Server to join our team. We serve a Mediterranean influenced menu alongside craft coffee, cocktails, and a full bar. We're looking for an attentive, guest-focused server who helps create a warm, memorable experience in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

What you'll do:

• Greet guests, share menu knowledge, and take food and drink orders accurately
• Serve both food and beverages, including alcohol, in a timely and professional manner
• Run food and drinks to tables as needed, including for other sections during busy periods
• Operate the Toast POS for orders and payments, and handle cash and card transactions responsibly
• Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly in line with Nevada law
• Maintain clean, properly set tables and a tidy dining area; complete opening, closing, and side work
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth, timely service
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns with genuine hospitality

What we're looking for:

• Prior serving or hospitality experience preferred
• Knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails is a plus
• Experience with Toast POS is a plus
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer-service skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older (alcohol service)
• Alcohol Awareness (TAM®) Card required, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Washoe County Food Handler Safety Card required, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
