We're looking for energetic, outgoing, and dependable people to help bring our brand to life at events throughout Southern California.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Event Brand Ambassador, you'll be the face of The Jerky Society at festivals, expos, and events.

This isn't a sit-behind-the-table job.

We're looking for people who enjoy engaging with customers, creating memorable experiences, sharing great products, and helping us grow a brand people genuinely love.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and breaking down event booths and displays
• Offering product samples and educating customers about our products
• Sharing The Jerky Society story and brand mission
• Processing sales transactions
• Assisting with inventory and merchandising
• Engaging with event attendees in a friendly and professional manner
• Supporting giveaways, promotions, and interactive booth activities
• Keeping the booth clean, organized, and welcoming
• Capturing photos and videos during events for social media content
• Representing The Jerky Society with enthusiasm and professionalism

Who We're Looking For

You might be a great fit if you are:

• Friendly, outgoing, and personable
• Comfortable approaching and talking with strangers
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive, energetic, and customer-focused
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excited about events, food, hospitality, outdoor recreation, or lifestyle brands

Bonus Points If You Have Experience In:

• Festivals and events
• Retail sales
• Hospitality or restaurant environments
• Breweries or wineries
• Customer service
• Farmers markets or trade shows
• Social media content creation
• Photography or short-form video creation

Social media experience is a huge plus. We love team members who can help capture authentic event moments, behind-the-scenes content, and customer experiences for our social channels.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Reliable transportation required
• Weekend availability required (this is when most events happen)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable appearing in photos and videos for social media content
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

Compensation & Perks

• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
• Performance-based bonus opportunities
• Overtime pay in accordance with California labor laws
• Flexible event-based scheduling
