Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level CPA to join our dynamic accounting team. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
- Prepare all tax returns (Individual, Business, Trust)
- Client Interactions.
- Attend Networking Meetings
- Perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other tools for data entry, reporting, and analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial report writing to aid management decision-making
- Conduct detailed Excel data analysis using functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables to interpret financial information effectivelySkills
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger accounting
- Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, PeopleSoft or similar platforms
- Knowledge of regulatory standards including GAAP and securities law is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management
- Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices, governmental accounting standards, or public accounting experience is advantageous
- Ability to interpret financial reports and perform financial statement preparation with accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills for mentoring team members and collaborating across departments
