Fulfillment Supervisor - 1st Shift

Jay Group is looking for a Fulfillment Supervisor to support 1st shift Operations. 

This position will lead a team of direct reports and temporary associates to meet the business needs in a fast pace, quality orientated environment. The role is responsible for achieving production goals and motivating employees while building a strong team.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the movement and storage of materials, the picking and packing of materials, and collation of materials.
2. Interprets specifications of jobs and projects, develops optimal production line(s) or processes, and explains to Team Leaders and Production Workers and assigns duties.
3. Responsible for achieving production goals and ensuring quality of products being shipped.
4. Develop a strong team by mentoring and coaching.
5. Administrate corporate policy consistently and follow appropriate disciplinary actions as necessary.
6. Approve time in payroll system.

1. Two years previous supervisory experience in warehouse of light industrial environment required.
2. A people person who has the ability to build a strong team with direct hires and temporary associates is imperative.
3. Must be detail oriented; possess good communication skills, (written & oral), and good math skills.
4. Candidate must possess good organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
5. Must be mechanically adept and be able to work quickly and accurately.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, previous experience with a Warehouse Management System is preferred.
7. This role could require travel for training and development.
