What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Customer Service Representative (Must live in Idaho) position at The Jacobson Group?
Responsibilities
- Provide information, education and assistance to members, providers, other insurance companies, attorneys, agents/brokers or other customer representatives on recorded phone lines regarding benefits, claims and eligibility.
- Respond to multiple inquiries on all designated lines of business.
Logistics
- Location: Remote - MUST reside in Idaho.
- Potential Start Date: June 23
- Work Schedule: Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time, 7 days per week. Exact shift schedules may vary based on call volumes and workload. 40-hour work week.
- MUST be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year customer service call center experience within some form of healthcare
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- Demonstrated ability of strong customer-service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional communication skills
Work From Home Requirements:
- Remote Worker Internet Connectivity Requirement: Supplied computers can only connect through the following types of "hard-wired” Internet Service Providers (ISPs): CATV/Cable Modem, DSL or Fiber. Equipment does NOT support Satellite or mobile WIFI internet connectivity.
- Keyboarding skills of 30 wpm with 95% accuracy.

Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 /hourly.
