Associate Inside Sales and Global Customs Specialist - Hybrid

Our team is working to enhance our worldwide support of health-based research by delivering a spectacular international distribution experience.
Most work is performed Mon-Fri from office or office/home, with some flexibility required off-hours as needed, and for rotated urgent support. Training, educational opportunities, and career ladder in place for a motivated individual with appropriate mindset.
Responsibilities Include
The salary range is $60,618 - $87,896. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
The candidate hired into this role will have the ability to work remotely but will be required to work onsite 15% of their time at our Ellsworth and/or Bar Harbor location.

- Arrange and manage safe and stress-free shipments of live mice across a rapidly changing globe.
- Communicate with customers (mostly written), build relationships, manage orders.
- Devise and implement improvements in both infrastructure and process.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- 8 years of experience in managing projects, service, logistics, and/or supervision in a technical environment.
- Strong software skills: Demonstrated ability to leverage software applications, including Excel.
- Self-starter with proven track record of creative problem-solving.
- Exceptionally articulate written and verbal skillset to comply with contracts and regulations, communicate clearly with non-native English speakers, and produce consistently accurate and professional communications.
- Comfortable pivoting at short notice to evaluate and address urgent, time-sensitive requests.
- 24/7 rotational 'on-call' for handling of international calls, Customs questions, airline clearance requests, and emergencies impacting live-animal or biological safety
