Massage Therapist

                 Responsibilities:

• Perform consecutive quality massage session.
• Provide a welcoming and inviting experience, free of any business disruptions. Consistently demonstrate a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Be able to communicate and promote the benefits of massage therapy to our clientele.
• Responsible for maintaining professionalism and cleanliness of spa.
• Adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, ensuring all communications are professionally handled.
• Tailor massage sessions to a client’s needs.
• Be self motivated at building your business and utilize promotional opportunities available to you.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Follow all JCC policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

           Qualifications:

• Candidates must hold a valid Missouri State license; no provisional licenses allowed.
• Demonstrated ability to perform various massage modalities including (but not limited to): Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, PreNatal Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Couples Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, and Chair Massage.
• Must have demonstrated customer service orientation.
• Two years of related work experience is preferred.
• Must have demonstrated ability to create a consistent professional client base and desire to achieve compensation goals increasing revenue on a regular basis.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
• Available to work one weekend and one evening shift per week and or as needed.
• Must be team oriented and able to work for the benefit of the team.
• Must have demonstrated ability to be punctual and reliable.
